jakob horvat gets schooled by emma while big brother lukas smirks from first
Jakob Horvat walked on court as #6 and walked off looking like a ball boy who'd wandered into the wrong match. Emma Lindqvist dismantled him 6-2, 6-4, feasting on his loopy second serve and watching his nerve evaporate every time a break point appeared. The all-time head-to-head sits at 2-2, but nobody watching would believe these two belong in the same sentence. Jakob stays stuck on 12 points, and Sunday lunch just got unbearable: older brother Lukas, who already beat him this season, leads the league on 19.
Emma climbs to 17, one point behind Oliver Grant, whom she's already beaten once. Next comes her season debut against Lukas. Sofia Rossi, on 15, still wants revenge for her own loss.
