lukas horvat swats sam whitaker like a fly: still winless after seven tries
Sam Whitaker walked on court as the league's bottom feeder and walked off the same way, minus whatever dignity survived the 6-2, 6-3 drubbing. Lukas Horvat barely had to move his feet, and Sam barely had to try. That makes it three straight wins for Lukas in their head-to-head, and Sam is stuck on 2 points with zero wins from seven. That's not a slump; that's a lifestyle.
Lukas climbs to 19 points, but Oliver Grant is breathing down his neck on 18, and they haven't met yet this season. Emma Lindqvist (17) is also still waiting for her first crack at him. Maya Chen has already beaten Lukas once, so a rematch would be personal. Meanwhile little brother Jakob, already beaten by Lukas this season, will hear about this one at dinner too.
